A good drink, food and conversation become exceptional and more interesting when there are games where everyone can participate. In these situations card games are ideal and there are many variants to play.
The best of all is that you don’t need more than one or two packs of cards and to know the different modalities that exist so that you don’t always end up playing the same thing. So prepare the snacks, the drink, a table, the decks of cards and let’s play.
Conquián
Conquián is one of the most fun card games. It is played with a single deck of Spanish cards. It is ideal to play between three people although it is also well suited to play between two. To start this game, 8 cards are dealt to each player.
Each player must try to form “tercias” or “corridas”. Tercias are three cards with the same number even if they are different figures. The corridas are three cards with ascending value. The winner is the one who has nine or more cards down with the formed corridas or tercias.
Brisca
Brisca is a card game played with the Spanish deck of cards. This modality is excellent to play in pairs, so 4 or 6 people is perfect, although you can also play one on one. In this game each card has an assigned value.
The objective is to collect as many points as possible in pairs. Three cards are dealt to each player, the suit with the highest value is assigned and in each round the players drop one or two cards with the highest value to try to beat the others.
Seven and a half
Siete y medio or seven and a half is played with the Spanish deck. The object of the game is to obtain seven and a half points. Each card is worth the value of the deck itself, except for the figures, which are worth half a point.
The cards are dealt one at a time but all except one must be visible to the rest of the players. Each participant asks for more cards as required. If he has reached 7 and a half or has gone over, then he must open all the cards.
Loba
Loba is a fun English card game. It is for two or more players and requires two decks of English cards. The dynamics of this game is that you must lower all the cards that each player has by means of pre-established combinations in the rules of this game.
If there is a player who succeeds, then he/she wins the round. The rest of the players must add up the points of the cards they could not get down, which are recorded before moving on to the next round. The overall winner is the one with less than 100 points in the overall table.
Canary envite
Envite canario is undoubtedly one of the most popular card games. This variant of the game is played with the Spanish deck and the most fun is that up to 10 or 12 people can play in pairs.
The objective of the game is to make four participants to win a game, to achieve this you must get to tumbo four times and win it as a result. The team that achieves this can decide whether or not to play the next round.
